Patented Non-Shielding, Non-Abrasive Pads

     Submar's patented Non-Shielding, Non-Abrasive pads are constructed of a heavy-duty 3/8" PVC porous material. Four rigid PVC pins are inserted into the pad and then embedded into green concrete to anchor the pads to each mat element. This type anchor system will ensure that the pads cannot be knocked off, which can occur if adhesive materials are used. The bright yellow color is used for high visibility and is a Submar trademark. The Submar pad protects any coated pipelines from coming in contact with the concrete mattress. The non-abrasive pad will not produce shielding of electrical current and will allow cathodic protection systems to protect any damage to the pipeline.

Patented Mechanical Release Handling Frame
